Also home to the "Gaslight District" that has charming gas lamps that line the streets, giving it a unique and historic atmosphere.

Thompson Square is one of the oldest planned squares in the United States, laid out in 1839. It's a central point in Charlestown and has historical significance. City Square Park is a popular park in Charlestown, offering green space and a peaceful retreat with beautiful views of the Boston skyline. Named after American Revolutionary War hero John Sullivan, Sullivan Square is a transportation hub in Charlestown, served by buses and the Orange Line of the MBTA.

Charlestown's blend of historical sites, charming architecture, and community spaces makes it a fascinating part of Boston with a unique character.
